You know, you go on a ‘date’, and you’re kinda stressing about the end of the night. And you know that her house is right around the corner, and you’re like, “fuck, fuck….” And you decide to walk her up to the door, and if you’re lucky, she kisses you first. (And then she puts her hands down your pants.) And then you might do it, all night long. I’ve done it twice. The most amazing thing I can tell all the people at all the shows is that when you do fall in love, it kinda tears your heart from your chest, and it makes you feel really vulnerable. And it makes you feel like you can’t eat, and you can’t sleep, and you wait by the fucking phone all day long. Besides all that shit, it’s the best thing you’ve ever felt in your life. Six months, a year, two years - whatever that first little period is in a relationship, it dominates every other feeling in your body, and I think that’s truly living. So sing with me - this vacation’s useless, these white pills aren’t kind…
